Uzbekistan’s fruit and vegetable exports to Russia reach 70,000 tonnes in Q1

In the first three months of this year, Uzbekistan exported approximately 70,000 tonnes of fruits and vegetables to Russia, nearly 1.8 times the volume exported during the same period in 2023.

Almost 199,000 tons of fish caught in Uzbekistan in 2023

In 2023, 198,900 tons of fish were caught in Uzbekistan, the Statistics Agency of Uzbekistan said.

Compared to 2022, this figure grew by 7.3%.

The largest volume of fish was caught in Khorezm (30,900 tons), Tashkent (27,100 tons) and Andijan (21,700 tons) regions.
