Uzbekistan's non-performing loans hit $1.64bn in August, with state-owned banks facing higher ratios

As of August 1, 2024, the volume of non-performing loans (NPLs) in Uzbekistan’s commercial banks has reached UZS20.82 trillion ($1.64bn), according to the Central Bank of Uzbekistan.
