Uzbekistan to take part in meeting of heads of intelligence services of the CIS countries in Moscow

A delegation of Uzbekistan will take part in the meeting of the heads of intelligence services of the CIS countries in Moscow.

The heads of the security and intelligence services of the countries of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) will hold a meeting in Moscow on Friday. This was reported on Monday by the press bureau of the Foreign Intelligence Service (SVR) of the Russian Federation.

“On 30 September 2022, Moscow will host the 18th meeting of the Meeting of the Heads of Security Agencies and Intelligence Services of the CIS Member States on Intelligence Activities. The event will be attended by delegations from Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and, of course, the Russian Federation,” the message says.

As part of the work of the deliberative body, it is planned to meet the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin with the heads of the intelligence services of the Commonwealth countries via videoconference.
